Hello :D.... today was erm.... think the official start of lesson ba.... haha.... had some surprises.... firstly... we no longer have a home classroom liao.... so we will wander around the school after every lessons... while the teachers just stay in class.... I think this is rather stupid... why make the whole class move around when you can have just a few teachers going around... they want us to be punctual for lessons. But when a whole group of people move... the speed will be very slow mah.... so will actually eat into the lessons... Well... they wanted a system to be more like a Uni, but.... I think this is not very feasible at JC level lar....
So yar... haiz... first day of school already quite some things to do..... cos during the holiday haven't been keeping up with work. SO now have to rush everything out..... So yar... just did a nre GP hw just now.... and tried to do some long over due maths tutorial. As for econs... perhaps tmr ba... today really very tired already. So well... lessons today were quite relax, maybe cos its the first lesson of the year and the teachers and us duno each other yet.
Oh... and about the chinese test by MOE..... its a new format of paper that will be given to the coming batches of students. So we are there to test it out. Well... the first part of the paper which is compo is unchanged, still 1 and a half hour, write something out with the help of the dictionary. But this time round, the questions given are rather different. Well... you still get the continue the story type of question, but it was somehow different. I nv do that type of question for a long time liao so I not sure the specific changes. But for the discussive questions. They now no longer give you a few sentences and ask you to comment on it. It is more like social studies style where they give you a source and ask you to comment on it. The questions given are really more cheem as in, you have to read widely to have sufficient content to answer the question. So yar... heng I not gonna have this kind of paper :)
But on the other hand, the second part of the paper is quite easy. THe whole format of paper two is changed. We no longer have tian xie han zhi, and li jie wen da. Well.... there is still something that is similar to li jie wen da. but, they no longer give like 5, one sentence question to ask you to answer. They will have some phrases missing in the passage then they ask you fill it in given a multiple choice. Then they also ask you to explain some things that happened in the passage. I found it rather interesting. Cos it is no longer like last time where you just copy and re write everything from the passage. This requires you to be able to think and understand the passage and not just blind copying, cos there is nothing you can copy from the passage. So overall for paper two. I feel that is a a very good attempt by the MOE and this sure got rid of those things that I hate about chinese. :D But there are some minor marks allocation problem. Cos... haha.... it either they give too much marks or too little lines to write on, some question seemed abit unbalanced.
Oh yar.... while going home. I got another surprise...... when walking down the pathway to the gate. I saw a crowd near the gate. Then I realised that we have to scan our ez-link card everytime we enter and leave the school. And dunno why, since they school want to use such system, they should invest a little bit mroe to get those reader like those at the MRT station. They are now using a scanner to scan the bar code on the ez-link card. This is extremely troublesome cos now I have to take our my ezlink card from my wallet everyday and increase the chance of losing it. And becaue this action of taking it in and out and the scanner not so sensitive. It caused a huge jam at the gate..... I think in such an old school like YJ, there isn;t a need to go hi-tech cos there arn't the proper infrastructure there.
Oh yar.... haha.... something rather interesting happened in GP class today :P Haha... cos I have a classmate named jean. So yar, we were playing a ice breaking game. So this guy from my class chou chun was chosen to asnwer a question. ' if you can change your name, what would it be? ' And you know wad..... haha..... he said he wanted to change it to levis...... haha...... LOL..... can guess the meaning liao? (levis jean) haha.... Wah.... lol.... love is in the air :P haha... so daring sia... 'biao bai' in class :P

Haha.... so yar... think thats all for today :) Bye~
